In Riddle, Manchevski blew up six of his photographs billboard-size. These were then put up around the city. He traveled with the crew putting up the billboards and photographed the process, making sure that the process of putting up the photographs was photographed in a way that further reflected and amplified one of the main visual/conceptual concerns of the original photographs – the gentle, playful optical illusions. In the final piece, the new photographs were placed side by side the original photographs, enlarged parts of which constituted the three-dimensional reality which was at the heart of the new photographs.
